In ITC, we had the opportunity to be in the second cycle of virtual direct missions organized by ICEX in the healthcare technology market. At the event, Spanish companies and firms dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of medical and hospital equipment in Latin America met between September 6th to 30th.
The sectors convened were: medical devices and health technology, expendable medical supplies, medicines and digital health. This conference was well received by Spanish companies with at least 27 companies with views to import agreements or representation of their products or services in the respective markets.
The virtual activity in each country started with a welcome meeting in which the economic and commercial adviser gave an overview of the country and presented business opportunities. This was followed by B2B meetings between local companies and Spanish participants. In total, approximately 300 work meetings were held.
In the case of ITC, we participated in the sesions of Chile and Uruguay with a views to possible commercial agreements or representation of our products and services in the respective markets.
Thanks to the collaboration of the commercial offices of Chile and Uruguay, we were able to schedule a total of 17 meetings with companies from both countries to find synergies, understand first-hand market circumstances, competition and confirm the good image that Spanish companies have in these countries in terms of quality and service.
